Junk to Joy Repurposed Sign!


I am always on the look out for trash that can be turned into treasure! Come see how I made this sign for .25...


...so I added a very watered down coat of paint--just enough to stain the pieces.
My favorite local thrift store hosts a weekly warehouse sale of their surplus items and most everything except furniture is .25. A few weeks ago, they had their final sale before Christmas and I picked up a bag of metal bits and pieces. Not much to look at, but I had an idea...

Then I arranged my junky letters and nailed them to a piece of fencing that I'd kept from a repair. It makes a funky addition to my garden, that can be used year round and the patina will only get better as it continues to weather!
