You probably won't believe it, but we just finished selling a house that we bought, renovated, and sold in six months. All while living in it, working regular jobs, and raising our kids! It sounds absolutely crazy... and it was!
On the exterior we replaced the front door and storm door, painted the front porch, painted the shutters and trim, and replaced the garage door.
On the inside we started by moving into the basement, all while tearing apart every inch of the main level. We scraped popcorn ceilings, tore up old carpets, textured and painted walls, and replaced every fixture throughout the house. We tore out the kitchen and replaced it with cabinets we bought on Craigslist! We were able to complete the entire kitchen remodel for under $7,000!We also gutted the bathrooms, bringing a modern look to them with a floating vanity and plank tile floors. Each bedroom had a uniquely different colored carpet, and glitter flecked popcorn ceilings. We were able to breathe fresh life into them by painting them fresh and neutral and installing clean laminate flooring.
