Worn Out Vintage Desk Gets Makeover by Teenage Boy

I've shared with you before how I am teaching my children a trade, and am just amazed at how well they are doing at it. This time around my son choose this vintage desk as his project. With a bit of TLC, gave it new life and brought it back to the vintage beauty it really is. Come see how he did it!

With some minor repairs and a new look, this worn out vintage desk is now a beautiful piece with a modern twist.





I had been keeping my eye on this desk as a potential project for myself, but since I had plenty to work on I asked my oldest son to see if he wanted to take it on. Funny it ended up being located two houses down. What a small world!





Since he's worked on furniture before, he knew how to prep the desk and get it ready for a makeover.





After getting the top to the state we were happy with, it was time for the cabinet. A nice stark contrast between the two adds character and charm.
