Why Not Make Wine Corks Into Art

I have a collection of wine corks that I saved for some time.There are so many crafts being done with corks.I decided to make fun art.

With this blank canvas that I had on hand,craft paint,corks and hot glue gun. I base painted the canvas in brick red.

A heart template was cut out the traced to dried canvas.Then with a hot glue gun,corks were placed along the outline.

Here it is in a more rustic look.

After much thought I decided to paint my heart In 3 colors just on top leaving the sides visible for that rustic look showing the cork labels.Ribbon added.

This was so simple and about 1 hour of time(craft paint dries fast).Cork Art!
