Industrial Bathroom Makeover

We have a tiny little bathroom in our foyer that had obviously be updated recently, but was rather dark and lacked personality. We decided to stick with our Industrial Chic design aesthetic from the foyer and update the space with reclaimed wood, metal, and some gold thrown in for good measure. This is definitely the most "finished" feeling space in our house now. It was really fun to go overboard on the details in such a small space. Enjoy!

We lightened up the space with pale mint walls. We paneled the walls with wood we reclaimed from our old fence. The wood mirror I purchased was given an antique gold finish to add a little glam to the room.





Here was the space before. There was nothing really wrong with the space; it just wasn't "us". Also it didn't come with a mirror. I bought that later.

We built the wood shelves out of more old wood fencing and added the cable wire to give the shelves more support.





The molding is one of my favorite details in the space. It is such a tiny room that we could afford to go overboard with 3 piece crown.





For a bit of whimsy we had this fun wallpaper to the ceiling. Our guests always rave about the ceiling, but warning: wallpapering a ceiling is not for the faint of heart.





Here's a look at all the finishes in the room. The penny tile floor was my hubby's idea and keeps the room feeling fun. Also it's really easy to keep clean!
