My 6 year old daughter LOVES animals and she's not a big fan of super girly things, like pink and purple. So, when we set out to makeover her room, we decided on neutral colors and fun patterns. The room started off a very drab blue color. Luckily the ceiling was a perfect khaki color already and the trim was all painted a crisp, fresh white. Added a few boxes to the wall as more shelf space. Our first order of business was adding this amazing fabric to the far wall opposite the door. We also removed the HUGE, broken ceiling fan that was swallowing up this room. And added this lovely thrift store find.
I added art work and hung some fun shelves with raw wood and leather cording. I also recovered a little chair in the same fabric as the wall.To add light and texture we added a lamp and some fun patterned textiles to the bed.
