Patio tables can be expensive. To save money, I put together a flower pot and unfinished wood panel (found at Lowe's.) Then used stain and paint to create a cute and unique table for my back deck.
I already had this old flower pot from the year before. I painted it bright blue to match my chairs.
I found this inexpensive circular wood panel at Lowe's. I sanded it and then wiped it clean with a damp cloth.
With a pencil, I sketched out the petals of a flower. Then, using soft cloth, shaded in the petals with stain.
I coated the table with an acrylic sealer. One screw attached the top to the upside down flower pot and it was ready to hold drinks, snacks or a book while we enjoyed the deck. See this project on my blog; Arts Be Crafty.
